A Message from the Steering Committee

The Northern California LEGO landscape has evolved with fantastic new large-scale commercial events. As we look to the future, we want to take a completely different path for a revived Bricks by the Bay.

Instead of hosting a massive, crowded public show, our vision is to return to our roots as a registered, volunteer-run, non-profit organization focused entirely on education, artistry, and the builder community.

Our goal is to pivot to an intimate, fan-friendly retreat at a smaller venue. By prioritizing deep peer collaboration, technical STEM panels, and traditional community activities—like games and social events—we can keep the experience relaxed and authentic for builders. Under this new format, the public exhibition gallery would be limited to a single day.
